Duffy snaps out of slump in a big way

Central Florida outfielder Chris Duffy snapped out of a recent slump with two big offensive games in a pair of wins over Memphis.

Duffy went 3-for-6 with a double, triple and five RBIs in Game 2 of the series against Memphis, a 12-7 win for the Golden Knights.

In the third game of the series, Duffy was part of an amazing ninth-inning rally as UCF defeated the Tigers, 5-3. Trailing 3-0 with two outs and nobody on, Kiko Vazquez put the Golden Knights on the board with a solo homer. After a single by D.J. Hicks, Duffy belted a two-run homer to tie the score. After another single, Colin Arnold belted UCF's third homer of the inning to complete the 5-3 comeback victory. Duffy finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
